Infographic: Messi vs Ronaldo

Hey! I'm back with an infographic that my partner and I created. It is about Messi versus Ronaldo, and if you are a soccer fan, they are superstars! :D

The real faces of Messi and Ronaldo at the top immediately gives the viewer the idea that this infographic is a comparison between Messi and Ronaldo, as they are the two best soccer players in the entire world. On the back of the statistics, we used very light blue and white colors to improve readability but also to not look too boring. For the bars, we used different colors for two players each to visually make distinction between two statistics. Messi wears a blue-red colored uniform, and Ronaldo mostly wears a white-colored uniform. We used national flags at the bottom for both players to show where they were from, their playing numbers as well as their soccer teams. To make the statistics simpler to see, we removed complicated axis which many statistics have in common, and instead we made them into simple bars for our viewers' easy readability.

My Impressions on Multimedia Tools

Hey!

So last week, I started using Pinterest and Twitter. It was my first time trying them out, and it was really an interesting experience. First up, Pinterest! When I learned about the concept of Pinterest and the way it worked, I immediately wanted to start using it. I have interests in guitar, technology, and food from around the world, so I made my boards and pinned some interesting stories. I was excited to know that millions of people in the world are sharing same interests with me, and I could learn many new things that I did not know before. Second, Twitter. I did start using Twitter, but I am still not familiar with it haha..... I feel like Twitter is for famous people :P But I do think that Twitter is a good spot online for people to share their own opinions, news, etc. It was really exciting to use both of these online tools. I really enjoyed them because they helped me to connect to millions of people and get new information very quickly. On the other hand, I think the downside is that it is not face to face, which I prefer when I want to become close with people.

Next time, I would like to try out Google Docs in a group project when I am writing an essay, etc. I think it is very efficient in doing group work, especially in cooperating each other, so that when we have good ideas we can quickly write it down or quickly fix errors.

It was an awesome experience to start using these new online tools, and I will continue using them! :D

Introduction of Myself

Hello world!

My name is Juhyung Chae and I am from South Korea. I am 19 years old, a freshmen student attending Hanyang University in Seoul. After the hard studying in high school, I am really enjoying my university life; I feel like I gained much more freedom and entertainment. My hobbies are playing video games, listening to pop and alternative songs, and traveling around the world. I have traveled to many countries in the past, for example the United States, France, Switzerland, China and many more. I am also interested in technology, personally a fan of Apple, so I like using my iPhone and Macintosh. I rarely watched movies before, but after watching Interstellar, I got deeply into sci-fi movies. I am very excited for the upcoming movie 'Terminator Genisys'!

I really like being part of the international society. I am planning to work in Ministry of Foreign Affairs or the United Nations in the future, to broaden my knowledge that I will learn from all over the world. I will study hard in the university to become successful!
